Camp Pike, May 29th
Mr. Cox,
Dear sir,
I will write a few lines to my old home paper. How is every body by this time? Fine I hope. We landed here 28th, drilled a little that evening. I have not yet been promoted to KP but we boys scrubbed our rooms this morning and have a half holliday off this evening but we cant leave the barracks. Please send me the Advance Reporter,
