Dear mother:
Will drop you a few lines to let you know I’m all O.K.
Mother sure was pleased with Xmas. Sure did enjoy it lots more than I expected. We had a mighty nice entertainment and the Y.M.C.A. gave us chocolate and plenty of tobacco. I guess old Santa Claus was good to you. Mother I sent you a citation of what we did at the front, and sure do want you to keep it from getting misplaced.
Mother guess you all hear from Don? I have written you all several times but fail to get any answers.
Will have to close as it is about time for inspection.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Co. B. 60th Inf.
