Mr. Sam Burns and Family:
Am writing you a few lines to let you know that I am well, and hope you are the same. Am having a good time over here and like it fine. We are drilling only about three hours a day now. This country is a cooler place than the states. I sure did get some sea sick coming over. Think we will all be back in the States by next summer. Have seen several boys from around home since coming over here.
