TRANSCRIBED FROM THE GREEN FOREST TRIBUNE OCTOBER 25, 1918 P. 2
France, July 26, 1918.
Dear mamma:
I trust that you all are well. I received a letter from you just before leaving and was very glad to get it.
I have been here some few days, but of course have not had the opportunity to see much of the country. I am doing fine and having good health as are all the other fellows.
Write and tell me where Glenn is now? If he is at the same place I can visit him some time; suppose he will be gone by the time I can go see him. Will write more later. Don’t worry dear.
Much love,
Merril O. Coleman
