My Dear Wife:
This leaves leaves me all right, and I hope you are well. I have had a light case of mumps, but am getting along fine now. I think I will be home for Christmas dinner, dear. Will be there on my birthday anyway. Tell mama and papa hello for me and tell them I will write to them soon. I haven’t any more time now, and will have to close. Am having a good time. Tell papa to be saving with his potatoes, for I will be back to help eat them this winter. Hoping this will reach you all right, I am
Your loving husband,
Harrison, Fuller.
NOTES: Harrison is writing to his wife of Swifton, Arkansas.
