Dear Friend Tommy:
Rec. your letter of the 19th today and sure was glad to hear from you. I am feel- fine and dandy. Never felt better and had less in all my life. And what it takes to whip Bill and his bunch we are loaded down with.
Tell Elmer to write to me. I want all the letters from the old U.S.A. I can get.
Oscar is in the same Bat. with me but is in the hospital at present. Nothing much the matter with him.
This is Boche paper I am writing on.
Well will close for this time as I can think of nothing to say, answer soon and tell me all the news.
Give my best regards to all,
Chas. Garton
Bat. F 150 F.A. A.E.F. A.P.O. 715.
NOTES: Garton it writing to his friend Tom Slight of Springdale, Arkansas.
