Dear Sunday School teacher:
I received your card and was very glad to get it, but I am sure the Sunday School doesn’t miss me any more than I miss it. But I don’t think it will be very long before it won’t miss me, or at least I hope not. I haven’t been to Sunday School in so long. But I didn’t lose my little testament.
Mrs. Rosel, I have had a wonderful trip over here. A trip that has been worth so much to me.
I have traveled all over this country across France and even visited Switzerland. That is also a beautiful country.
I made a trip over to a big cave where the Romans put the Christians for the lions to eat, and also some of the stones that came off “John the Baptist’s tomb.”
I am going to take a trip to Germany before I leave here.
I haven’t a thing in the world to do but visit around and see the sights.
I must close, tell all “hello” for me and that I will soon be back in the good old U.S.A., where I can go to church and Sunday School.
From your Sunday School Boy,
Ben Hall
