TRANSCRIBED FROM THE LAFAYETTE COUNTY DEMOCRAT AUGUST 16, 1918 P 1
June 22, 1918
Dear sister and all:
Received your letter of May 15th, the other day sure was glad to hear from you and get the pictures, you look to me like the same old bunch and makes me want to be there with you although I am a long way from you now.
We are all three as healthy as ever, the weather being very pleasant now not as much rain as last winter. We still hold our same positions, and Barney is getting more comical every day.
George will now write, so I will quit for this time.
Lovingly your brother and son.
Huber
NOTES: NOTES: William Huber Hamm was born on September 2, 1897 and died on June 28, 1986 at Chidester, Arkansas. He is buried in the Greenwood Cemetery in Camden, Arkansas. A letter from his brother Barney is included on this site.
