Dar Folks:
I have not written for some time, but I am all right and feeling fine. We are now in Germany and living in the peoples houses, I have a good warm room and bed, just two in a room, so we are taking things easy, we are in about one block of the River Rhine. Don’t know how long we will be here. I am sending you some cards, scenes here in town. I guess you will have a great Xmas, I hope so anyway. I have not had any mail since I left the hospital. I don’t know much to write, so I will close for this time. Kiss all the kids and write often.
Yours,
Ben (Honea)
My address is Co. H. 7th Inf.
NOTES: Honea was wounded on November 2, 1918
