Dear sister and family.
As it is near Christmas and I am far away thought that I would write you a few lines. I am well and having a good time. We are now in Germany. I made that march you read about in the papers.
It is real rainy here now. I suppose you have cold and snow there now.
What are you going to have for Christmas? I don’t know just what we will have yet. I think the company is going to have a blow out. I had my picture made in a group and will mail you one in a day or two.
I haven’t heard from home since I left and would like to hear how all of you are getting along. My address is different from at first. Address all mail plainly.
Pvt. Frank Isbell.
Co. F. 127 Inf. 32 Div.
A.P.O. 734, Via New York
P.S. Give my love to all; will be home before long, so don’t worry about me. I am doing fine and have good health.
