Camp Pike , Ark., Sept. 26, 1917. Clay County Courier:
Dear friend enclosed you will find one dollar to pay my subscription to the Courier. Please send me issue of September 21st.
All of the boys are doing fine and seem to like their new places in army life. They are learning quickly the different movements in military drill.
We have all been lucky enough to stay together, except Bob Warman, he having been transferred a few days after we arrived.
