My Dear Mother;
Will write you a few lines this morning to let you know that I am feeling fine and hope this will find all of you the same. Wallace got back from Paris and we have been together most of the time and you have no idea how much better satisfied I am for we have been busy talking over old times. He is doing guard duty now in our yards here and I never have much work to do so just as soon as I get through I will go out and stay with him. I thought Grady Pitts was missing in action but Wallace was telling me that he wasn’t and then I got your letter telling me that he would be home in June. Well it has started raining again. I thought we was going to have some nice weather but I guess there is no such luck. I sure was surprised to hear of Mr. Burk getting married and you didn’t tell me who Sterling married.
Tell Les that he made a mistake and sent me the letter that he wrote to Clyde Kendal.
Well mother give my love to all.
Goodby
Robert.
