I don’t think the navy can be beaten, but I would like it much better and would be a better sailor if I could get the Independent once in a while. Next to buying W. S. S. and Liberty Bonds you could help the cause more by cheering me up and making me a better sailor with a copy of the Weekly Independent. I’ll promise to keep it with the Testament the Y. M. C. A. gave me.
