TRANSCRIBED FROM SPECTATOR NOVEMBER 8, 1918 P. 1
France, Sept. 28, 1918.
Dearest Father and all:
It is with pleasure I answer your most kind and long expected letter which I received yesterday, and was most truly glad to hear from you all. This leaves me and Willie just fine and dandy, and I do hope that these few lines will find you all the same.
I am glad to know that you have such great faith in us U.S.A. boys winning this war. You all over there think we will win it and we boys know we will win it, and as long as we are backed with the good faith of our parents we will be with them till the end of time, if it takes that long but don’t worry, it won’t take long.
Tell all the people around home hello, and tell Harley and Charley to be good.
Will have to stop: my ink is all out, so answer real soon, and a long letter.
Good bye.
Noel Reeves.
