NOTES: This partial letter was written by Miss Anna Saugey from Salisbury, England to her family at Alexander, Arkansas describing the location at where she is to be head nurse for Unit T medical unit. She was born on April 26, 1884 at Geneva, Switzerland and died on August 24, 1980 at Alexander, Saline County. She is buried in the Alexander Cemetery. Her family arrived at Ellis Island November 2, 1885 and were in Saline County by 1900. She enlisted for the Red Cross Army Nurse Unit T on March 28, 1918 and was released from service on January 10, 1919. (Her picture accompanies the article in the Gazette)
