Dear Parents:
I will answer your letter that I received last night. How are you all feeling this morning? Fine though I hope. I am feeling fine and enjoying the best of health, only I am having some trouble with my teeth. But don’t think they will bother me much longer, as I am going this afternoon to have some work done on them.
Well, what are you all doing these days? I guess it is cold by this time. We are having some fine weather over here only it is a little bit rainy. It is such pretty weather here that I go without my coat part of the time.
Well, papa, I got the money order and the one dollar bill that you sent me alright, and sure was glad to get it. I got the letters that you all and Laura wrote me and sure was glad to get them. Don’t worry any more than you can help, for I think I will be home in a few weeks. I am glad that Dave is back home and I know that you were all glad. Wish I could be there with you and my dear wife, but I am not. But if nothing happens I will be there sometime in the near future.
How is the stock all getting along? Well, I am having a good time over here, as we have from one to two ball games every day. I guess Laura has got back from her Xmas visit by this time and am in hope that she had a good time. I hope you had a Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year.
How is Ruby and Albert getting along going to school? Tell them that I said to go to school everyday that they could. Well I can’t think of anymore to write this time, only tell Laura that I wrote her a letter last night. Will close, answer soon.
