Get a German helmet.
I am having a wonderful time here with these Washington girls.
Voice of a Waterfall
Come with me, come with me
To the mountains where life is free.
Where the streams flowing down
By the pine-bordered town.
All glisten with gravels of Gold,
And music like Memnon of pure dripping springs
With borders of ferns in the mold.
NOTES: A partial letter and part of a poem were written by Private Leroy Webber stationed at Camp Meigs, District of Columbia. Webber attend school at Acorn, Polk County, Arkansas 1913-1914. He wrote several poems while in the service.
