I received you all letter on the last of Mar. I was more than glad to heare from you all and to no you havent forgotten me. Me Oh! Yeas I think we will go to France soon to be ame right at a hun what I mean I am not going to miss any oather. Well Mis. and Mr. Straub and Mr. Paul I have decided it is like this my life is no better than no outher fellow to loose for the country and this case is a case of need and I says this when ever it come a time for me to stand up for the Stars and Stripes of old glory I am going to stand and when bullets are bursting all around me and when shells are falling all about me and eaven when I am falling I will I will tell my comrades to rush the news to all my friends in old glory and tell them the old flag did not titch the ground now my friend I must close wishing you all the best of luck I remain Your Soldier Boy
